Crews undertook a massive operation after a deadly crash at a northwest Oklahoma City home.
On Monday night, Oklahoma City Fire Department officials said a driver suffered a medical emergency before their car went through a fence and into a home's swimming pool near Hefner Road and Rockwell Avenue. First responders pulled the driver through the car's open sunroof and took them to a hospital in critical condition.

Authorities said the driver was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
More than 12 hours after the car crashed through the fence and went into the pool, wreckers and a crane were brought in to lift the car out of the pool and over the home.
Sally Cortez and her husband were about to go to bed Monday night when they heard a boom outside their home.
"We were about to turn off the TV and everything and just heard this loud boom, crash noise — thunder, rain, something," Cortez said.
It took a few moments before they realized that the sound was a car crashing.
"The first thing we saw was this big hole in the fence and saw that half the tree was gone and then looked closer and there was something in the pool," Cortez said.
Once Cortez and her husband realized what happened, they called 911. Fire crews and police arrived within minutes.
"We did jump in. We did remove the patient through the sunroof. We tried to get there as quickly as possible," Capt. John Chenoweth, with the Oklahoma City Fire Department, said.
The driver was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Information about the driver has not been released.
"My heart just bleeds for the family, the man," Cortez said.
By 1 p.m. Tuesday, after dive crews went back to attach straps and secure the vehicle, the car was removed from the pool by a crane and placed on the back of a flatbed.
